
James Hannon

Over the past 15 years, James Hannon has used his expert project management and agile skills to lead a multitude of large, complex, and successful multi-organization projects. He developed the “pro-active PMO model” through the use of Business Intelligence (BI) and leveraging various risk management and project forecasting resources.
Using Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, and Lean, James led seven Agile transformations that transformed 500+ teams, impacted 100+ products, and saved companies an estimated $25-$50 million in quicker times to market and reduced quality issues.
With 15 years of undergraduate and graduate teaching experience, James is an adjunct faculty member for two major universities. He created a groundbreaking Agile Project Management course at a leading university and is the lead founder of the BU Agile Innovation Lab at the Boston University Metropolitan College.
James is currently an EdD student at Northeastern University, where he studies the use of teams and Agile methodologies to enhance learning. He also volunteers at St. Jude New England, the Jimmy Fund, and various town initiatives.
