Mary brings empathy and love to her Agile facilitation practice. Her work spans across human-centered design, operations, people development, and agile leadership coaching.

Most recently, Mary founded The Systm: they're on a quest to create a more sustainable culture at work. Before that, she was Head of Experience, Future of Work at ConsenSys, a blockchain leader, where she helped decentralized, autonomous teams thrive and developed a passion for the evolution of organizations. 

 

Mary's career started at Razorfish, in the late 90s, where she pioneered some of the first digital UX work and digital brand practices. In 2001, she co-founded The Groop, a boutique digital services agency in Los Angeles where her design team adopted Agile practices in 2007. Mary's Master of Science in Communications Design is from Pratt Institute, where she has also taught as a graduate program instructor. For over a decade, Mary taught at Art Center College of Design as well. Most importantly, she is the grateful mother of 3 boys, ages 17, 13, and 10.
