Dr. Rajagopalan founded the Agile Training Champions to make a difference for professionals and high school learners to improve themselves. Agile Training Champions focuses on training, IT consulting, and staff augmentation. 

He also consults as an Enterprise Agile Evangelist at Inflectra Corporation and supports its clients in professional training. He managed Program Management Office (PMO), Proposition Delivery, and Operational Excellence at the Vice President capacity and delivered numerous projects and programs for many companies in many industries. 

 

His book, Organized Common Sense: Why Do Project Management Skills Apply to Everyone?focuses on introducing project and agile principles to high-school students through his initiative, Projecting Leaders of Tomorrow. 

He received the prestigious PMI Eric Jenett Excellence award in 2017 and has published peer-reviewed scholarly journals, Scrum articles, and PM Network on topics related to middle management transformation through project management. He also facilitates at Northeastern University teaching Leadership and Project Management Classes. He has served in multiple leadership roles in the PMI Mass Bay Chapter and currently serves as an Executive Board Member at Boston University Agile Innovation Lab. 

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Madras in India, a Master's (MS) degree in Computer Engineering from Wayne State University, Michigan, a business (MBA) degree in Management from Concordia University, Wisconsin, and a doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in Organization and Management from Capella University, Minnesota. Dr. Rajagopalan also has numerous professional certifications in project management (PfMP, PgMP, PMP, PMI-ACP, PMI-SP, PMI-RMP, PARP, CSP, CSPO, CSD, CSM, ICC-ACC, SSBB, LSSBB, IT Project+, CSOXP, SCM, SCPO, SCD, SAMC, SCT).
