Andy Bleach has worked in IT for three decades - the last of those playing a key role in shaping and nurturing an agile mind-set in a small UK based digital agency. He is fascinated by the challenge of how to take a concept as wonderfully, elegantly simple as 'Agile' (carry out a small step that delivers value; learn from it; repeat) and apply it to complex, change-resistant, failure-phobic environments, deep-rooted in stifling traditions and stubborn assumptions. Inspired by, amongst others, Dr Jeff Sutherland, Willy Wijnands and the late Sir Ken Robinson, he has created a community to explore and promote the possibilities of agile thinking, in all its forms, in education.
